1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Vatican Express ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Vatican Express is an online bus ticket booking platform that connects travelers with bus operators in Cameroon. We facilitate the booking process but do not operate the buses ourselves. The transportation service is provided by independent bus operators.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking, you enter into a contract with the bus operator for transportation services. Vatican Express acts as an intermediary to facilitate this transaction.

4.2 Pricing

All prices displayed include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change and are confirmed at the time of booking. Promotional prices and discounts may have additional terms.

4.3 Payment

Payment must be completed at the time of booking. We accept Mobile Money, credit/debit cards, and Vatican Express Wallet. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

More than 24 hours before departure: 95% refund
6-24 hours before departure: 75% refund
2-6 hours before departure: 50% refund
Less than 2 hours before departure: 25% refund
After departure: No refund

5.2 Operator-Initiated Cancellations

If a trip is cancelled by the operator, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative trip at no extra cost.

5.3 Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 3-7 business days to the original payment method. Wallet refunds are instant.

6. Travel Requirements

Passengers must:

Arrive at the boarding point at least 30 minutes before departure
Present valid identification matching the booking details
Have their e-ticket ready (printed or digital)
Comply with luggage restrictions and bus operator rules

7. Luggage Policy

Standard tickets include one checked bag (up to 23kg) and one carry-on. Additional or overweight luggage may incur extra charges. Vatican Express and operators are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged luggage beyond the limits set by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vatican Express is a booking platform and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or defaults of bus operators. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Use automated systems to scrape or extract data
Make fraudulent bookings or use stolen payment methods

10. Intellectual Property

All content on Vatican Express, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cameroon.
